Get up close to birds and learn what they can tell us about our changing environment.
Join Neil Gifford and his volunteer team for this unique opportunity to see birds up close and learn more about mist-netting and banding wild birds. Hosted by the Grassland Bird Trust. We are going for round 2! Our first bird banding event was so successful that we decided to have another one! If you couldn't make it the first time or would like to attend again, this is your chance.
Registration is free to Grassland Bird Trust members! Not a current member? Please leave a donation (of any amount you can contribute to our wildlife conservation mission) when you register to become one!
Stop by the Cambridge Community forest any time between 7 AM and 11 AM for as long as you like - stay for the whole demo and all the nettings or just for one or two.
